Well, here I am again doing my favorite past time. Eating my son and I went for lunch while he had a break in classes here at falafel oasis. We've been here probably two times before and I have to say that every time that we've been here the service has been great. The food has been phenomenal and this time is no different. He had the Shawarma sandwich, beef Shawarma sandwich and it looks so delicious. It was juicy. The juices were dripping out of the sandwich and fries and it was so good. The bite I did have I had the grilled vegetable platter which came with hummus and a salad, and I had the Arabic tea. Everything was so delicious that I did not want to leave when I had to take him to class. It was so good and I enjoyed my time there so much. The food is Iraqi based and/Mediterranean. If you have to call it a thing. But it was such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is laid-back and it's a very easy place to sit and do some homework or chill in between your classes. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I highly recommend going to this place cause we will be back because there is a lot more on this menu that I wanna try.

My goodness the food is SO good here. Super fresh and flavorful. The lamb tikka is some of the best lamb I've ever had. And that yellow rice is what rice wants to be when it grows up. Perfect spot for carry out or dine in.

Authentic and delicious. The chicken was so tender and flavorful that I nearly wept into my hummus. An absolute flex in the break room for lunch today.

My husband and I were actually headed out for a Mexican adventure out on Poplar Level Road, but decided to stop here instead. We both had the lamb gyros, which were completely generous and so very good, and the stuffed grape leaves. Yum! The lovely woman who waited on us even threw in a free cup of their homemade lentil soup. It was FABULOUS! The menu was extensive, and the prices totally fair. I am not a fan of French Fries, which were included with the sandwiches, but they were not without merit. The restaurant was neat and clean, but we chose to take our meals to go. Thank you for a great meal!!

This place this place..... THIS PLAAAACCCEEEE The chicken shawarma platter is very flavorful and filling. Portion size was PLENTIFUL and I can EAT so that should let you know. Parking isn't the greatest but the food makes up for it. Yes it's the only thing I had but please don't walk....... RUN and try it and thank me later. The hummus texture is very smooth and tasted even better.

I was skeptical of this place at first, but having seen it on way to work, tried it out. LOVED the shish tawook platter! Delicious food. Very fresh! Overall, great place for pick up! Not sure about a sit down meal.

One of my favorite food combinations anywhere is a chicken shawarma sandwich with lentil soup, and this place does it as well as any other in town (right up there with Maira and Mirage). I had to deduct a star, though, since my sandwich was served on a tortilla instead of a pita (?!). As the menu specifically mentions pita, I'm going to presume this was due to an inventory issue on this Monday night. And really, this might've warranted a multi-star deduction, but the tortilla actually worked surprisingly well - sort of like a Middle Eastern burrito, I suppose (?). (Had I not eaten this off my lap on a park bench, I would have posted a photo. Next time...)
